CORTEN steel delivered non-rusting and with scale
All CORROLUX products are delivered without rust. The corrosion will gradually appear with the climatic conditions until its stabilization phase which will protect the product from deterioration. It is a process that takes place between 2 and 5 years depending on the environment.
This corrosion will have an industrial appearance. For more information on Corten Steel, please refer to the FAQ. (To obtain a uniform and fast rusting, it is possible to apply a sandblasting treatment on the Corten Steel. For indoor use, you must rust the CORTEN steel outside first.
For sandblasting treatment (perfect rust and orange in only a few days) and interior protection (addition of a varnish), additional fees apply. (put link)
Customized pattern
Each order with custom designs must be approved by a CORROLUX representative before final billing. Prices may vary depending on the complexity of the design and due to certain technical constraints, it is not possible for us to reproduce 100% of the designs we are asked to do.
Delivery to your home or business
You must provide a sufficient number of people to receive the order at the delivery location. The carrier does not have the mandate to unload the order. The customer is responsible for unloading his own order. The shipping company will call the customer within two hours prior to shipment, but we cannot guarantee this and we will not be held responsible for any error or delay in calling the shipping company.
Installation
Corten steel is a strong and heavy product. We recommend taking the necessary safety precautions during installation, working on a straight floor, using specialized tools and having more than one person lift the load. Although CORROLUX products are designed to have a load that can be lifted by one person, for a safe installation, we recommend 2 to 6 people depending on the project.
Error in the measurements
Measurement is important because our materials are not flexible. To do this, we recommend that you check your dimensions twice rather than once. No refunds will be accepted for order or size errors.
Price error in the quote
CORROLUX will not be responsible for any pricing errors in the quotations due to a computer problem and the customer will not be able to claim the incorrect amount in his favor when purchasing. CORROLUX may correct the pricing error at any time.
Checkout
The goods remain the property of CORROLUX as long as the total amount of the invoice has not been paid in full.
Refund or order cancellation policy
Any merchandise returned in its original condition can be exchanged or refunded within 10 days of the date of purchase. Custom orders, cut products and liquidation products are not refundable or exchangeable. To obtain a full refund, you must send us an email explaining the situation. The transport costs for the return of the goods, if any, shall be borne by the customer. For more information, link to WARRANTY.
Colors
The colors and products presented in 3D in our print and digital media are as realistic as possible. Therefore, representations are approximate and actual product colors may vary. For more information, link sandblasting and color
3D Illustration
Sometimes, the 3D illustration of a product does not represent well the dimension of the latter. Therefore, we always recommend that you use the technical data sheet of each product to confirm all dimensions of each selected product.
The customer is responsible for obtaining any required permits.
