Delivery time
Our delivery times are usually between 3 and 6 weeks. Depending on the season, our inventories and customization requests, delays may vary. An email confirming your order will be sent to you within 2 business days and will inform you of the delivery time.
If you need products on a specific date, please inform us as soon as possible.
Pre-installation steps for Corrolux products
Our metal products are designed to be quick and easy to install. However, a good preparation of the environment where they are to be installed is necessary. Refer to each product’s installation manual for product-specific information.
- By-laws
Before undertaking your project, it is important to contact your municipality in order to inform you of the various regulations governing the execution of the work you intend to undertake.
Moreover, a portion of your land, parallel to the street, is considered available to the municipality, which can pile up snow or modify underground infrastructures. This is what we call the hold. It is important not to plan any complex development in this area of the property.
The customer is responsible for obtaining any required permits.
- Easements and other limitations
Make sure you have a copy of your certificate of location. Easements and other clauses written into the purchase of a property may limit your rights.
- Excavation
For products requiring excavation, it is important to locate public and corporate underground conduits. We suggest that you contact your local/provincial service. In Quebec, we refer you to Info Excavation – www.infoexcavation.qc.ca.
It is also essential to locate private underground conduits (buried electrical wires, sewer pipes, etc.)
In addition, you may face geological constraints (rocky section, tree, etc.). Allow enough time to deal with unforeseen events.
- Measurement
Measurement is important because the products are made of materials that are not flexible. You will find all the dimensions and characteristics in the data sheets available in the store section under each product.
Corrolux recommends checking your dimensions twice rather than once. No refunds will be accepted for order or size errors.
The panels of fences, balustrades, garden borders and flower boxes can be cut to the size of your choice to cope with geological constraints in particular.
